As citizens we apologize for the failure of our elected officials to call for a review and implementation of provisions of the Arms Export Control Act and the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961. These acts call for restrictions on countries purchasing or receiving US weapons.
We apologize for our government's abstention on the recent U.N. security council vote calling for a durable and lasting cease-fire in Gaza.
As humans we apologize for our failure to prevent the catastrophe in Gaza and, now, the deplorable conditions there: the lack of food, shelter, clean water, sanitation and medical care. These conditions will persist long after the present conflict is over.
We mourn the loss of all life in this conflict- Palestinian and Israeli.
We call on Hamas and the Israeli military for an immediate ceasefire.

رسالة امل – اسمي تمار انا اسرائيليه وانا اتألم كثيراً للذي يحصل هناو لقد بكيت وما زلت ابكي طالما يوجد جرحى وقتلى بالحرب. الذي فعلته دولتي في غره لا يحتمل. انا اتامل ان لا تفقدوا الامل, رغم كل المعاناه التي تمرون بها تذكروا انه يوجد اسرائيليون يريدون العيش بجانبكم وبتساوي تصالح واخوه.
