Dear Cousin and Fellow Human Being,
The God of our father Abraham forgot us all, leaving us prey to hatred, paranoia and brutality. If you are a believer like me, let us search for the inner voice that is strong enough to remind God that when people die and kill His worship is disturbed. Let us remind Him that true religion is love, and that worship is the joy of watching the first smile of the child and the first leaves on the plant. The religion of the military is false.. The land cannot be bought with missiles and rockets, it can only be burnt and become barren. Let us remember ourselves the long history of our cousin relations, that was largely a history of co-existence all around West Asia (the so-called Middle East). In music, in science, in religion and in trade we were connected to the benefit of all.
I also pray that the future benefits you and your family with health, wealth and good life, and most of all, with the wisdom of compassion and tolerance. I pray the same for myself, and for everybody around.
With love and concern,
Ophira from Jerusalem
