Dear mothers
My heart is crying at the sight of wars.
My heart is screaming at the sight of dead children.
My heart is bleeding at the sight of killing of any human life.
Why shall this go on and on for generation and generation?
Violence will lead only to more violence, revenge to more revenge, suffering to more suffering, death to more death.
We, the women of the earth, are blessed with the gift of giving life.
Why are we so shy that we never cry out to stop all this nonsense and let our wisdom speak?
There is enough place, enough food, enough love for everyone on this planet. Can't we share them with one another?
Why do we let people with weapons rule our life? Don't we know better?
Dear mothers of Gaza, I don't want your children to die in these stupid wars, neither do I want my children to become soldiers and die in these stupid wars and most of all, I don't want my children to kill your children.
My hope is that we can change and create a better world. Your world. My world. Our world.
